Precision compressed air filters treat compressed air containing contaminants such as dust, oil, rust and water. As compressed air passes through the filter, the large particles are adsorbed on the filter material and the water condenses into large droplets that are expelled. Unfiltered water droplets evaporate, transform, and are filtered again. Through dust removal, rust removal, deoiling, and water removal, the purpose of reducing residual oil is achieved. Used as general protection after the rear air compressor cooler and before other filters. It functions as a pretreatment device before the cold dryer. Precision air filters and filter systems remove these contaminants and keep your compressed air system in usable condition. The quality compressed air you need for your factory, equipment or medical equipment helps you maintain a steady supply of compressed air and minimize operating costs.
A description of the stages of the fine filter element:
1 DD series:
A common protective polymer particle filter that removes liquid water and oil mist down to 0.1 mg/m3 (0.1 ppm) and particles down to 1 micron.
2 DDP series:
A particulate filter for dust removal that can remove fine particles down to 1 micron.
Three PD series:
A high-performance polymer particle filter that removes liquid moisture and oil mist down to 0.01 mg/m3 (0.01 ppm) and particles down to 0.01 microns. Four QD series:
An activated carbon filter to remove oil vapor and hydrocarbon odors, with a maximum residual oil content of 0.003 mg/m3 (0.003 ppm), should be installed after the PD filter.
How To Distinguish The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Air Filters
A good quality air filter mainly depends on three aspects:
(1) waterproof performance;
(2) Filtration Accuracy.
(3) Breathability. ??
Detections are:
(1) Water quality testing. Lay the air filter flat on the floor or table and spray the filter paper with water.
(1) If the filter paper soaks up water within 5 minutes, it is a cotton pulp paper air filter (poor quality filter paper).
(2) If the filter paper is soaked with water for 2-5 hours, it is made of inferior pulp paper and can be used, but the gas generation efficiency of the air compressor will be reduced (power consumption and gas generation increases).
(3) If 12-15 water seeps out, it belongs to medium quality filter paper.
(4) If water does not enter within 24 hours, it is high quality filter paper. (2) Observe with light whether the filter paper is uniform, whether the light transmittance is good, and whether the surface finish of the filter paper is good. Reflects filtration accuracy and breathability.
(3) Observe the depth and number of folds of the filter paper. The deeper the filter paper and the more folds of the filter paper, the larger the filtration area of the air filter.
For users in particularly harsh environments, we recommend cleaning the air filter once a day and replacing the air filter every 500-800 hours. Customers in temperate environments should clean the air filter every 3-7 days and replace the air filter every 1000-1500 hours. Green Customers 1500-2000 Change the air filter every hour.
