An air filter is one of the protective screens for air compressors that has the function of filtering impurities in the air. If the air is not filtered, the dust and large particles in the air will stick to the inside of the air compressor, affecting the use of the machine and shortening the life of the lubricating oil. The air filtered by the air filter becomes clean. The air cleaner element generally needs to be replaced after 3000 hours of operation, and it may be shorter or longer depending on the operating environment of the machine. If the air filter clogging reaches an alarm of -0.05 bar, it should be replaced immediately. Replacement procedure:
1. When replacing the air filter, the machine must be shut down and power off before other replacement procedures.
2. If you want to clean the dust from the air filter case, you can tap both ends of the filter element to remove most of the dry bulky dust.
3. Then loosen the clamp ring, take out the rubber ring from the dust cover, and pour the dust into the dust cover.
4. You need to unscrew the wing cap and take out the filter element. After removal, clean the inner wall of the air filter case (be careful not to blow compressed air on it). After cleaning is complete, you can replace the new filter element and reinstall the filter.
5. Finally, after checking the installed air filter, it can be used normally.
